Day 1 of our Starcraft tournament begins tonight, with Mais vs PoleJR. The game will start at 9:30 PM Pacific Time and will end after two rounds are won by one player.

The following practices are occurring tonight:

Tribes Vengeance:
Tuesday: 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM Pacific Time

Day of Defeat:
Tuesday: 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM Pacific Time

Tribes practice will be offense versus defense, and we’ll be playing the last BEML map from our match several nights ago. For Day of Defeat practice, we’ll continue pub scrimmage in our TG server.

Effective immediately, the Guardians will no longer hold practices twice a week. Instead, we will hold game/pub nights during the original practice times. When an upcoming scrim comes near, we’ll practice those maps on our public server.

Our pubbing times are identical to our old practice times:

• Tuesday: 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM Pacific Time
• Thursday: 8:15 PM - 9:15 PM Pacific Time

This will undoubtedly be infinitely more fun for all the players of TG.

We have released new sprays for use in-game for our Day of Defeat Source team. There are four sprays, with the first spray being our “gravel” phoenix logo. The other three sprays are period-specific sprays that will fit in-game nicely. When gaming, be sure to tastefully promote TeamTG by spraying our name.

THE DEPARTMENT OF STRATEGIC OPERATIONS COMMAND

Captain
TG|CPT-Name

The team Captain leads the SOC officers by giving them guidance and objectives to achieve. They act as a point of escalation and they reinforce the leadership and accountability of the SOCs.

They work with the SOCs to create strategies and review team performance. In game, the Captain typically is found in the primary flank.

Lieutenant (Lt. Commander, Lt., Lt. Junior Grade)
TG|LT-Name

The Lieutenant is in charge of leading the primary striking flank. They also coordinate decisive attacks against the enemy with any other offensive flanks.

In addition to leading the primary flank, the Lieutenant is tasked with recruiting and staffing. They are the primary recruiter for the team, and must evaluate performance of other players for the purpose of recruiting them into our team.

Ensign
TG|EN-Name

The Ensign is the lowest-ranking SOC official and is in charge of ladder administration. In addition, he or she acts as the leader of the secondary flank.

SOLDIERS

Chief Petty Officer
TG|CPO-Name

The CPO represents our most dedicated players who have been with our team for an extended duration of time. They are artfully skilled and are well-respected by their teammates. They assist the Ensign and Lieutenant SOC officers in creating strategies and coordinating attacks.

Petty Officer (Third, Second, and First classes)
TG|PO-Name

Our POs are our main striking force and represent those soldiers who have consistently attended practices and have dedicated themselves to the success of our mission.

The Petty Officer class (Third, Second, and First) are not represented in the tag, but can be found on our ROSTER page.

Recruit
TG|RCT-Name

Recruits are those soliders who have joined our team and are refining their skills. Once they have proven their skills in combat, as well as their ability to attend practices at their designated time, they will eventually be promoted to Petty Officer, Third Class.
